Easter Reflections.

We hope you all had a wonderful Easter this past weekend!

Easter is such a bright and cheerful holiday. The hues of winter begin to fade as the earth starts to turn green and trees are beginning to bloom. Eggs are dyed, candy enjoyed, and family is gathered together. But as is the case with most holidays, we find ourselves easily focused on little details of our celebrations and we miss reflecting on the reason why we are celebrating in the first place! So we wanted to take this opportunity to reflect with you on the reason we have for joy and celebration during the Easter season.

We live in a world of brokenness. We are often confronted with hurting relationships, grieving, pain, disease, conflict, abuse, and the list goes on. And in our own hearts, we struggle with hurt, restlessness, dissatisfaction, and many other things. But we have been rescued. The very God who created us and created us for Him has stepped into our brokenness. The gap between who we are and who we were created to be has been bridged by the blood of Christ, through our faith in Him. It is finished. We are forgiven. He is risen!

And this is why we celebrate.

Let’s hold this message of hope and of good news close to our hearts, not only during Easter season, but every day. This is our reason for rejoicing!

Celebrating our risen Lord with you all!
