SOS. We repeat, SOS.
This is the time when our favorite market, Summer on Sampson, can be shortened to its acronym, SOS. This is how we feel, basically.
Perhaps one of the hardest pieces of news we have had to share – that Summer on Sampson for 2020 will not be happening. We have no promise that the social distancing will be lifted by June, and with heavy hearts, we had to cancel. It’s not fair to our vendors to dangle it as a “maybe” over their heads, and it’s not fair to you to make you decide whether or not to come.
On the other hand, our team would have to be working right now – starting this week, to prepare, brainstorm, produce material for marketing, and more to host this great event, and as a lot of us are working from home, this just isn’t possible.
SUMMER ON SAMPSON will return. We look forward to that day, when we can sip lemonade, meander down Sampson St. and take in all the wonderful art, clothing, and products of each small business that makes up this awesome community. We are praying for each of you – we just want you to know. May we make it through this whole thing, stronger together.
