A magical bathroom. Seriously. You need to see this.
Doug and Vicky continue the tradition of favorite people. Yes, we have many, but they are each our favorites in different ways. This couple came to Janet with a big dream for their Master Bathroom. And while many of you may ask, “What is so glorious about updating a bathroom?”, believe us, it can be very glorious.
Before
Doug and Vicky had built their home years ago in a neighborhood that they had fallen in love with, loved living there, and wanted to stay. Because they had built it so long ago, however, many parts of the home were outdated, and Vicky had already started updating several rooms before she came to us. One of the top on the list though, was the Master Bathroom, and that is what she wanted us to tackle. Her “wants” for the new look consisted of a free-standing tub, a large shower, and more closet space, as well as just a fresh new updated look. Janet got to work designing the new plan – some of her favorite elements to design were the accent wall behind the tub with ribbed tile, the herringbone tile floor, and the showy, fun lights everywhere. We topped it off with floor heat to warm the toes after a bath, and Janet herself found it hard to not move-in right along with them!
